Need more absorbent diaper

Aug 15 2010 11:01 PM

Earlier today I had a sort of bad leak at a bad time. I went out to work with a client and it happened. I had to leave lunch a little early and get a change of cloths. It was not fun.

I was wearing the most absorbent Depends underpants for women. I like depends but I'm not sure how many more leaks i can deal with. I need something to help stop the leaks i am receiving. Most of the leaks I get are after I pee not during. The underpants were the most easy diapers for me but if briefs are going to work better than i might have to buy those instead. I also need a diaper that can take at least more than one wetting because of where I work.

Can anybody tell me the best solution for no leaks? Is it a heavier more absorbent diaper or something else? I also need a diaper that won't leak after a while.

Thanks for the help

I usr molicare they hold a lot now if you want like some super absorbency a molicare super plus is the way to go they are thick and hold a lot i olny use them at night because they are thick but i have never had leakage but a regular molicare brief would be a good decision they are hard to find but can be ordrerd on line from amazon or
www.hdis.com
or many other places on the internet there are other types of breifs that would also be a good choice but i olny use molicare because they work for me

Mary,

I only use heavy protection when I go out somewhere, but I've found that the Tena Ultra-Stretch brief works well. With pull-up styles like you mentioned, a person has to fully undress to change, so a tape-tab brief is best if you don't want to do that. Most tape-tab styles are very bulky, where-as th ultra brief can be changed or re-fastened easily, and is a bit more descreet. It's also very absorbant, and can hold 2 complete normal voidings (at least for me), although I confess that I use vinyl incontinence pants over them for a bit more security. Give them a try.

Molicare Air Supers very thin and very absorbent. Plastic backed and cloth sides are great to wear in summer not so hot as others.

actually with pullups u can tear the sides when changing. Thats what I do rather than take off my pants which is a pain cause of wheel chair boundedness. Well I have to have help with changing because of my paralisis. however Although I have been regaining feeling again. So its not a permeant paralisis one that is fixed thro extensive therapy.

I found to fix the leaks using adjustiable depends with a pullup over although it makes it less discreet but I finally dont care no more if others see. I will just be like yeah I wear diapers I cant help it sorry if ur uncomfortable but it helps me with my daily living. I am not letting it bother me or interfere with live anymore.

u should find what works for you because u know your body best. Good luck with locating the right product. The process for me was somewhat slow.
