How to treat chaffing from the courseness of the pull ups.

Oct 24 2010 08:37 PM

I have reacently had to use Depends and because of the ability to buy them in quantity at a less cost I got a super package of them. I am now wondering if I did the right thing. Have been getting a sever chaffing. I have used powered lotion and washing frequently as well has changing my pullup frequently and I am still having the problem can someone address this problem with any suggestion for a solution beyond not using Depends.

the pant willcover allareas of the diaper and the pant is made of soft cotton that way your skin does not get irittaed from rubbing against the diaper

I use a strong calmoseptine ointment, it is thick and helps with healing and the chaffing. Every so often I have to deal with it, mostly do to putting on my brief to tight. You will probably have to buy it at a medical supply place or online. Use a plastic glove when you apply it, hard to wash off. Hope this helps!
